Thornleigh Car Club is a fun, inclusive and diverse grassroots motorsport club. Based in the Sydney's northern suburbs, our members come from all over NSW and participate in a range of motorsport disciplines in a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
Our annual calendar offers relaxing social events, track days, motorkhana/khanacross events, forest rallies and even encourage junior participation from 12 years of age at some of our event to support learning to drive in a safe environment learning car control from an early age.

Club: CRC (Classic Rally Club)
Venue: Start/finish - Goulburn, lunch - Harden
Cost: $190 per crew of two, includes all instructions and maps, lunch and end of event nibbles. Additional crew members/passengers $50 each. Entries close Friday 22nd May.
Approx 550km of great tarmac roads with 3 levels of navigation. Please read the supp regs carefully as there is recommended equipment for each crew to bring and a description of how the timing and penalties work. More info at www.drivetekmotorsport.com

Saturday/Sunday 6-7th June AMSAG Bega Rally

Saturday – Bega Valley Saleyards to Boydtown. 7:30am Documentation, 10:30am Briefing, 11:00am Car 1 Start, 7:31pm Car 1 Finish, 9:59pm Car 70 Finish. Sunday – Boydtown to Boydtown. 8:15am Briefing, 8:30am Car 1 Start, 1:41pm Car 1 Finish, 3:59pm Car 70 Finish, 5:30pm Trophy Presentation.
Roadbook special stage rally starting at Bega Saleyards on the Saturday including servicing before the rally moves to Boydtown south of Eden for Saturday night and Sunday. 15 special stages with 258km competitive and 308km transport. Entries close on Friday 29th May, seeded entry list on Thursday 4th June. Please note you need to be a club member of AMSAG and hold a AASA Gravel Rally Licence to run in this event. John Crowley and I will be there in the blue Excel, hoping to see some other TCC members having a run if the planets align.

Thornleigh Car Club once again presents Round 4 of the NSW State Motorkhana Championship.
This event will comprise of both a state round and a multi-club round.

Two runs at each test with the fastest time used in the results. Results shall be determined by the lowest aggregate of elapsed times on the tests completed, inclusive of penalties. Timing shall be to 0.01 of a second.
There will be no reversing tests in the Club tests.
Ernie Boston Trophy - Will be awarded to the fastest financial Thornleigh Car Club competitor which shall be determined by the lowest aggregate of elapsed times on the like/common tests completed, inclusive of penalties.

Sunday 28th June Tour d'Course

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the AROCA Tour d'Course. It is hte second longest running Classic Rally Club champtionship event, only behind the Alpine. To mark the special occasion, this year's event will be a re-run of that very first event back in 2001.
The event start is the Leafy Latte Cafe, at Tahmoor Garden Centre. Lunch will be a sit-down catered event at The Local Italian restaurant at Bargo, and the afternoon portion of the event will end up back at Bargo.
This event comprises of 3 levels of navigation: Masters, Apprentices & Tour.

Thornleigh Car Club once again presents the famous Dirt n Dust Challenge Colo Khanacross.
Being run on the same winning tracks that Rallyschool use, come and have a play in the dirt on a variety of excellent tracks.
Multiple entries per vehicle allowed, spectators encouraged, fun grassroots level event.
This event will include a Come and Try component for those new to motorsport (reduced entry fee).

Always an excellent course, Toyosports club host fantastic events on the dirt circuit at Colo Park.
A fun, genuine grassroots event, consisting on mutiple attempts at the course. The direction is reversed in the nighttime.
