Thornleigh Car Club is a fun, inclusive and diverse grassroots motorsport club. Based in the Sydney's northern suburbs, our members come from all over NSW and participate in a range of motorsport disciplines in a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
Our annual calendar offers relaxing social events, track days, motorkhana/khanacross events, forest rallies and even encourage junior participation from 12 years of age at some of our event to support learning to drive in a safe environment learning car control from an early age.

Sunday 22nd February WAC State Khanacross Round 1

Cost: $90 adults, $45 juniors

Sunday 28th February CRC Shoalhaven Sojourn
2026
Type: Touring Rally
Club: CRC (Classic Rally Club)
Venue: Start at Hungry Jacks, Haywards Bay, lunch at Bomaderry, finish at South Nowra.
Cost: $130 per crew of 2 which includes lunch at Bomaderry
Time: 7:15am docco, 8:30am briefing, 9am Car 1 start, 3pm Car 1 finish.
Touring assembly in the Illawarra region with 3 levels of naviation - Maters, Apprentices and Tour. Total event length approx 320km with only 1-2 of gravel roads. The finish is at teh Worrigee sports club in South Nowra for those looking to have a feed and a few drinks after the event (not included in entry fee).

Sunday 1st March BLCC State Hillclimb Round 2

Type: Speed (Hillclimb)
Club: BLCC (Bathurst Light Car Club)
Venue: Mountain straight - Mount Panorama - Bathurst
Cost: $200 Adults, $160 Juniors.
Time: 7am scrutineering, 8:45am briefing, 9:15am start, 5pm finish
This hillclimb gives you a taste of driving on teh Mount Panorama circuit in a normal race direction in your daily driver or race/rally car from part way along Mountain Straight to the finish at the top of the hill just before McPhillamy Park.

Note that if they get a full field then registered championship competitors get priority.
The day prior is Round 1 of the NSW Hillclimb Championship travelling in reverse direction up The Esses - not on the TCC calendar but some competitors have done both days in the past to make it a full weekend.

Saturday 7th March TCC Summer Skids Colo Khanacross

Venue: SORRA Colo Park off road racing precinct - 5308 Putty Road, Colo Heights.
Cost: $90 Adults, $45 Juniors
Time: 8am Scrutineering, 9:45am Briefing, 10:00am Start, 4:30pm Finish
TCC once again presents the Summer Skids Colo Khanacross. Using the same dirt tracks that RallySchool use, come along and join us for a great event and variety of tracks.
BBQ canteen available on the day serving hot food, cold drinks and snacks (cash and card available).

Sunday 29th March Drivetek Sheep Station Rally
2026
Type: Touring Assembly
Club: CRC (Classic Rally Club)
Venue: Start/finish - Goulburn, lunch - Harden
Cost: $190 per crew of 2, $50 per extra person in the car
400km of competitive rallying with new roads and some old favourites, set against the backdrop of the Southern Tablelands. This event will be full tarmac roads.
Three navigation categories - Pro (full map reading with additional route charts), Pro Am (rout charts with map reading sections) and Pro sport (fully route charted with additional tulips and information).
