Thornleigh Car Club is a fun, inclusive and diverse grassroots motorsport club.  Based in the Sydney's northern suburbs, our members come from all over NSW and participate in a wide range of motorsport disciplines in a huge range of vehicle makes and models.  We offer events on our calendar from relaxing social cruises, to track days and forest rallies.

At our events we encourage younger and inexperienced drivers to our events so they can learn car control from a younger age in a safe and controlled environment and can offer competition advice to drivers of all skill levels.  Members can learn to drive from 12 years old and the majority of our events require no vehicle modification for entry (though modified cars are very welcomed).

As an affiliated member of Motorsport Australia (previously CAMS) all events run by our club are organised to a very high standard and are covered by the Motorsport Australia insurance.

Thornleigh Car Club Inc. is registered as a club involved in the classic vehicle scheme and offers Historic Registration to eligible vehicles and members.

Operating since 1954 we currently have around 90 members and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
